The project
I am developing a thrust-vector-controlled rocket that connects a custom gimbal with onboard sensors and servo control. The project brings together the mechanical and electrical systems with software that processes gyroscopic data.
ROCKETRY / CONTROLS
Bringing mechanical design, onboard electronics, and control software together in a self-stabilizing rocket.
I am developing a thrust-vector-controlled rocket that connects a custom gimbal with onboard sensors and servo control. The project brings together the mechanical and electrical systems with software that processes gyroscopic data.
Developed the thrust-vector-control gimbal in SOLIDWORKS and used OpenRocket to simulate the rocket’s flight.
Designed and assembled the electrical circuitry, including soldering and integration of sensors, microcontrollers, and servos.
Created C++ control software to process gyroscopic data and command the servos for self-stabilization.
